FC Barcelona made attempts to sign Bernardo Silva from Manchester City and Dani Olmo from RB Leipzig this summer but failed to secure their services as both players extended their contracts with their respective clubs.
However, according to Mundo Deportivo, the players have unofficially included release clauses in their new contracts, which means they could potentially leave their current clubs for specific amounts.
Bernardo Silva is rumored to have a release clause of approximately €58 million in his contract until June 2026, while Dani Olmo’s contract reportedly includes a €60 million release clause until 2027.
These clauses might prompt FC Barcelona to consider making another move for these players in the upcoming summer transfer window, provided the club has the financial means to meet these transfer fees.
