Examinations revealed a « ruptured anterior cruciate ligament and a torn meniscus in the left knee, » according to the Brazilian Football Federation.
The former Paris Saint-Germain player will need to undergo surgery and will be sidelined from the field for several months. This injury represents a significant setback for the player, who had recently returned to competition after an absence of about six months.
