Manchester United is considering replacing their current manager, Erik ten Hag, due to the team’s disappointing results.

Erik Ten Hag may soon be on his way out. The Dutch coach appears to have lost the confidence of the players after weeks of on and off-field issues. English media reports suggest that the situation has become untenable.

Two potential candidates for the managerial position are already being discussed. The first is Ruben Amorim, currently in charge of Sporting CP. The young Portuguese coach won the league in 2021, ending a long trophy drought for the club. He is often linked with Premier League positions.

The second candidate is Zinedine Zidane, who has been without a club since his departure from Real Madrid in 2021. While he was previously linked to taking over the French national team in case Didier Deschamps failed at the World Cup, the latter recently extended his contract until 2026. There were also rumors of Zidane heading to PSG, and he’s also contemplating a return to Real Madrid. Manchester United will need to be persuasive in their pursuit of Zidane.
