On Monday, the newspaper Il Mattino confirmed that there was an altercation just after the match between the Nigerian international and Napoli’s coach, Rudi Garcia.
Later in the day, the two men also had a conversation, and Osimhen, due to his behavior, will have to apologize to the French coach and his Argentine teammate. Because of this conduct, Osimhen could potentially face a fine. It seems tension is rising in Naples with this inconsistent start to the season.
