According to Marca, Real Madrid no longer considers Kylian Mbappé a top priority. Instead, they are focusing on other talented players, such as Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Junior.

While this doesn’t mean they won’t try to sign Mbappé if he becomes available, they are not desperate to secure his services. The club believes that, given the talent already present in their squad, Mbappé’s arrival has become more of a luxury than an absolute necessity.

Reports suggest that a recent meeting between PSG and Kylian Mbappé didn’t result in an agreement. However, Mbappé remains open to all possibilities and isn’t imposing any conditions for his contract extension. Several offers from PSG are reportedly on the table:

1. An extension until 2025 with a guarantee that he can leave in 2024. There is also a commitment not to leave as a free agent, as previously promised.

2. An extension until 2026, with the option for Mbappé to choose to leave or stay for another year in 2025, depending on his preference. However, in 2025, the club would be obligated to either sell him or extend his contract again, similar to Lionel Messi’s situation with Barcelona.

3. A longer-term extension, which would indicate Mbappé’s confidence in PSG’s project and significantly reduce the possibility of joining Real Madrid in the future.

Paris Saint-Germain and Mbappé’s representatives are planning to meet again in early November and then in December to continue negotiations. PSG is keen to ensure that Mbappé doesn’t become a free agent in January, so the discussions are expected to accelerate. It’s worth noting that Mbappé is reportedly content with PSG’s signings this year and pleased that certain promises regarding team strengthening have been kept.
