Everything is set to change rapidly at Manchester United, both in terms of sports and infrastructure. According to the Daily Mail, the English billionaire Jim Ratcliffe aims to swiftly move forward with the modernization of the aging Old Trafford stadium.

As reported by the Daily Mail, the project involves demolishing the stadium and rebuilding it on adjacent land, with the ambitious goal of completing it within the next five years. Manchester United aims to create a « Wembley of the North » by significantly increasing the stadium’s capacity from 74,310 to 90,000 spectators.

This ambitious project also includes the construction of a 5-star hotel to accommodate fans and travelers from around the world. Additionally, there will be club-themed attractions. The reconstruction of the stadium could exceed £2 billion, which is a little over €2 billion. Quite an endeavor indeed…
