Amid a four-year suspension for doping following a positive test for testosterone last August, midfielder Paul Pogba (31) denied rumors of retirement in an interview with Sky Italia.

« If you haven’t seen an interview where I say I’m retiring, it means I’m not retiring, because I still feel like a footballer. I want to fight against this injustice. Pogba is not finished (…). I have an incredible desire to come back, I feel like a young man who wants to become a professional, » said Paul Pogba.

Paul Pogba is now awaiting the decision of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) after appealing his lengthy suspension. He also emphasized that he remains under contract with Juventus Turin until 2026.

« As far as I know, I’m still a Juventus player. I have a contract but I haven’t had the opportunity to speak to the president and the coach. It’s radio silence. I think they are waiting for the appeal result, but you should ask them, » he added.

Paul Pogba’s future remains uncertain as he navigates through his suspension and legal proceedings, while maintaining his readiness to return to professional football.
