It’s a challenging situation for Jadon Sancho. After the clash with coach Erik ten Hag, he is being completely punished and hasn’t worn Manchester United’s jersey, even though his contract runs until 2026. A departure seems more likely than a reconciliation with the club.
According to The Athletic, here are the measures taken against Jadon Sancho: in addition to not being allowed to train with the first team, he has to park his car outside the players’ parking lot, leaving his car next to the youth training center.
For training sessions, Sancho is forced to change in the youth training center’s locker rooms and lock them to prevent contact with minors.
Even for meals, measures are taken to keep him away from the first team. He does not have access to the first-team player’s canteen. Instead, someone delivers his meal in a packed lunch outside.
These circumstances suggest that the club is not seeking reconciliation. However, some staff members believe that Sancho could have been treated differently. But Jadon Sancho doesn’t seem willing to apologize to Ten Hag and is waiting for other players to drop in form to hope for a chance.
However, the player could be loaned or sold to Borussia Dortmund or Juventus as early as January.
