Real Madrid is making progress in their quest to secure their second signing for the summer of 2024.
According to Relevo, the Madrid club is working on another deal to acquire Alphonso Davies, the Canadian left-back from Bayern Munich. Davies, whose contract with Bayern expires in 2025, has steadfastly refused to extend his contract, putting Bayern in a difficult position.
On the other hand, Real Madrid knows they will have to pay at least €50 million to secure the defender. Bayern appears poised to give up on the player, as it will be very challenging to convince Davies to stay.
Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is also reportedly interested in Alphonso Davies, but Real Madrid seems to have the defender’s favor.
