Mateu Alemany, the former sporting director of FC Barcelona, reportedly made efforts to join Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) on two occasions in the last three months, as reported by Sports Zone.
It appears that Alemany had also received offers from other clubs, including Tottenham and Napoli.
However, it’s worth noting that Alemany will not be joining PSG directly, as he has apparently opted to join Atlético Madrid. While Atlético Madrid is a direct competitor in La Liga, it represents a slightly less direct option than joining a club like PSG, which is also a contender in the UEFA Champions League.
It seems that Mateu Alemany sought opportunities with various clubs following his departure from FC Barcelona, but his final choice was to join Atlético Madrid.
