No Haaland, no Mbappé. Messi once more. The Catalan newspaper, Sport, has published a major revelation: Lionel Messi is said to have won the Ballon d’Or 2023.
Lionel Messi is reportedly being recognized for his performance in leading Argentina to victory in the World Cup last December. This would mark his eighth Ballon d’Or, establishing a new all-time record. The Ballon d’Or ceremony is scheduled for October 30th at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris.
In addition, the Spanish player Aitana Bonmatí is also expected to be honored for her outstanding performances with FC Barcelona and the Spanish national team.
